Labyrinth painting – open to the public

Parking Lot, 31 Railroad Ave., Warren, RI 02885

Blue Skies RI will be painting a pop-up walking meditation labyrinth on the parking lot at 31 Railroad Ave, Warren at Thrive Behavioral Health and The East Bay Recovery Center.   Anyone interested in participating in painting this more durable version of the chalked pop-up labyrinth we created in August is invited to join us on Sun. Oct. 20th (rain date Sun. Oct. 27th) during the Warren Walkabout.

This labyrinth is part of the broader Warren Walking Meditation Labyrinth project.  A labyrinth can help relieve anxiety, through meditation, calm walking, and grounding (feeling the earth through your feet).   The painting and the walking will provide a hint of how we, as a community, can take steps to reduce anxiety. Sponsored by www.BlueSkiesRI.org.

Please share this invitation.

Blue Skies is a nonprofit effort working to provide families and friends with anxious loved ones with knowledge of what is available locally to address early-stage anxiety.  We do this in two ways.  We host small and informal gatherings for families and friends to share their hopes and experiences with each other and with a different local anxiety management caregiver each month.  And we work with others to create anxiety awareness activities for public participation. We do not use any tax-payer dollars.
